Announcing Stronger Together Canada Support Groups
We are excited to share with you that Moms Stop The Harm is ready to launch Stronger Together Canada Family Peer Support Groups.

This is a 2-year project funded by Health Canada Substance Use and Addictions Program. We are grateful to have received this opportunity and to be recognized as a partner in creating strength, change and overall positive impact for families across Canada.
Modelled after the Stronger Together BC project, we are establishing Healing Hearts groups for families who have lost a loved one to substance use-related causes, as well as Holding Hope groups for families who have a loved living with problematic substance use.
The project offers training and support for facilitators and the aim is to establish groups across Canada and in Indigenous communities.
We are pleased to have recruited Tyla Savard, a long-time Alberta advocacy leader and moderator of our Holding Hope Facebook support group to the role of Stronger Together Canada Coordinator, and Antoinette Gravel-Ouellette as the Stronger Together Canada Training Consultant. An Alberta Elder will join the team as an Indigenous liaison soon.
